Phone Booths & Public Wi-Fi

You may not have ever found yourself in need of a payphone, but in areas where there is limited to no cellphone service, they serve a vital function. Our phone booth located beside Stonewall Grocery in McDowell, VA, has served the community for many years. It received some upgrades and is now active as a free Wi-Fi hotspot.

To connect to the free Wi-Fi, search for the “MGW Free Wi-FI” network in the Wi-Fi settings of your Wi-Fi enabled device and select the network to connect to the internet.
